The Adventure Begins

 The adventure: India.
The goal: survive five months in a third world country.
The supplies: A few small bags. No school supplies. A lost cellphone.
 The excitement: high.
 The girls: extremely ready!

We're tired. It is a simple at that. The thing is Tess and I have embarked on a journey that few have ever experienced, and we want to stay awake and experience every second of it. Are we crazy? Probably but that's besides the point.

Numerous times we have been asked, "Why India?" Our answer is always the same. We wanted a culture shock. Well, the lack of sleep, the intense buddy pass flying, and our nerves haven't quite helped with the culture shock. Not to mention, we stick out like two wild turkeys in a pack of ducks. Our friend from Surf Church, Emily, helped us tremendously by giving us a contact in Mumbai. As we were waiting for him in the Mumbai Airport, he told us what he was wearing and what he looked like. Wearing a black shirt and has a beard. Right... Like we are supposed to be able to spot him in the massive crowd of curious onlookers. My response to him was I'm pretty sure you'll find us way before we find you.

Culture shock is an understatement.
